Cumberland County has a few studies that could lead to water agreements with Spring Lake and Harnett County, officials said during a Sept. 8 infrastructure committee meeting.

County Manager Clarence Grier said officials are in the early stages of evaluating what providing water to areas of the county, including Spring Lake, could look like, but no action is being taken until studies are complete.
