The Democratic National Committee is launching a fresh round of digital ads in Iowa, targeting Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01) over the ongoing fight in Congress about whether to release the so-called “Epstein files.”

The campaign comes days after Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released a sexually suggestive birthday letter addressed to Jeffrey Epstein and purportedly signed by President Donald Trump. Trump has denied writing the letter, which appeared in a 2003 birthday album compiled for the wealthy financier and convicted sex offender.

The new ads, which will run across social media platforms in Iowa’s 1st Congressional District, highlight Trump’s past friendship with Epstein and accuse Republicans of shielding the president from scrutiny.
