Aldi has announced plans to close all UK stores for three days later this year. This temporary move will give staff a chance to unwind and enjoy part of the Christmas holiday with their families.

The budget supermarket chain has over 1,000 stores across England, Scotland, and Wales. The budget supermarket has gained a loyal customer base over the years thanks to its wide selection of affordable products and its famous middle aisle packed with ever-changing SpecialBuys.

The company announced today (September 10) that it will shut its doors on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, December 25 and 26, before reopening shortly after.
