Earnest Greene ’s 24 starts over three seasons are more than all other Georgia football offensive linemen combined, but the senior has played only 19 snaps so far this season.

The 6-foot-4, 320-pound Greene missed the 28-6 win over Austin Peay on Saturday after dealing with what was described as lower body stiffness against Marshall.

He led on the sideline this past week, helping sophomore Jahzare Jackson, coach Kirby Smart said.

The No. 3 Bulldogs are gearing up for a game Saturday, Sept. 13, at No. 15 Tennessee and after practice on Tuesday, Sept. 9, Smart updated the status of Greene and true freshman Juan Gaston, who sustained an ankle injury in the opener.
