Brits given travel warning for France due to disruptions this week
The UK Foreign Office has issued a fresh travel warning for a popular holiday destination. From today (September 10) Brits have been advised to "check" for any disruptions when travelling in France.
This comes as the country is expected to experience a series of strikes and demonstrations over the coming week, which could create problems for tourists. In an update by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), it stated: "Calls for strikes and demonstrations across France on Wednesday 10 September and Thursday 18 September could make disruption more likely.
