STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Assemblyman Charles D. Fall has been appointed deputy majority leader of the New York State Assembly, his office announced today. This is an advancement from his previous role as assistant majority leader.
“I want to sincerely thank Speaker Carl Heastie for his confidence in me and for granting me the privilege to continue serving in Assembly leadership as deputy majority leader,” said Fall, a Democrat representing the North Shore, Lower Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn. “It has been an honor to represent my community as assistant majority leader, and I now look forward to working closely with Speaker Heastie and my colleagues in this new capacity to deliver results for the 61st District and all New Yorkers.”
