Riga, Latvia – An ankle injury for Cedi Osman concerns Turkiye and head coach Ergin Ataman.
On the way to the Semifinals of EuroBasket 2025 and a meeting with Greece in Xiaomi Arena on Friday, the 59-year-old play-caller of the senior national team of his country updated the status of the 30-year-old small forward.
“We had meetings with our medical staff all morning,” he mentioned in an interview with TRT Spor, “They are trying to help Cedi cope with the pain and prepare him for the game.”
Osman was hurt during the Quarterfinals against Poland on Tuesday. Following an exit and initial treatment, he later returned to the floor to end up with ten points, five rebounds, and two assists over 24 minutes.
