Two people were arrested and a huge haul seized after a major drugs bust in Leigh .

Officers raided three properties in the town early this morning (September 10) as part of an operation to tackle organised crime .

Greater Manchester Police says both class A and class B drugs were seized during the dawn raids.

Two Rolex watches and an imitation firearm were also taken as evidence by police.

GMP says a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and money laundering.

A 48-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing a class A drug.

Both suspects remain in custody for questioning this afternoon.
