MURRAY — A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in critical condition after a crash involving the motorcycle and a vehicle Tuesday night in Murray.

The crash happened near 5400 S. 1070 West. 5400 South is closed in all directions with an estimated opening time of 1 a.m., according to a social media post from the Utah Department of Transportation,

Murray police spokeswoman Kristin Reardon said the driver of the vehicle is cooperating, and authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.

Reardon said the motorcyclist was a man, but further information was not available Tuesday night.
