The Texas Stock Exchange could receive approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission "any day now," a top executive for the company behind the effort said Sept. 9.

"I think we're anticipating approval any day now. So you know, everybody, keep your fingers crossed here by the time we talk again, we'll have been approved as a national exchange by the SEC," said Nicole Chambers, global managing director of listings for TXSE Group Inc.
