The Daily Beast reports prominent MAGA figures were infuriated at the U.S. Secret Service after President Donald Trump waded through protestors at a Washington D.C. restaurant Monday night.

Trump joined Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Department of Defense head Pete Hegseth and Cabinet members at an upscale seafood restaurant when the visit was interrupted by members of the Code Pink activist group, shouting: “Free D.C., Free Palestine!” and “Trump is the Hitler of our time!” mere feet away from the president.

MAGA-aligned U.S. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) accused the Secret Service of silently being in on the protest by alerting protestors to Trump’s location.

“How are they allowed that close to him? Where was Secret Service and was there someone in Secret Service that leaked his location? This needs to be looked into,” Luna posted on X.

Other MAGA members, including Trump-aligned podcaster Graham Allen exploded at the president being within earshot of protests.

“How did Code Pink get so close to our president? How did Code Pink know he would be there?” Allen posted on X. “Why were they able to [shout] and [yell] at the president for so long?!? This was [not] a public event.”

Trump supporters also reacted to what they considered the president’s vulnerability.

“Someone at Secret Service needs to be fired for this one,” posted MAGA influencer Laura Loomer on X. “Is there a HAMAS sympathizer working at the U.S. Secret Service? Who let those rabid HAMAS lovers inside while Trump was in the restaurant? We need to find out and expose them. This is unacceptable. POTUS could have been assassinated tonight. They could have stabbed him or shot him.”

Code Pink’s D.C. organizer, Olivia DiNucci, told the Daily Beast the group reserved a table “pretty last-minute” expecting a visit from Trump.

“We thought it was just going to be Trump, we didn’t know that it was all of his Cabinet, and we didn’t think they would be in such an open room — we thought he’d be in a different area — and we were placed really close to them,” DiNucci said.
