Thomas Skinner , the Strictly Come Dancing contestant who has garnered the support of J.D. Vance , has apologized after snatching a female reporter’s phone during a press event.

A witness told Deadline that, during a roundtable interview with three journalists, Skinner picked up the phone, which was doubling as a recording device, and started scrolling.

This person said Skinner, a former The Apprentice contestant, was visibly unhappy and “stormed out” of the BBC event without returning.

The Sun newspaper published a recording of the incident , in which Skinner can be heard asking: “What’s that?” A woman is then heard saying: “What are you doing?”
