The incident comes at a fraught time for the capital’s central air terminus, which in January saw 67 people killed in a collision between a Black Hawk Helicopter and a PSA Airlines-operated American Airlines regional jet. The latest incident saw Detroit-originating, Republic Airways-operated American Airlines Flight 4528 have to go around at 7 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 8.
