CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) -- A new "haunted experience" is making its debut next fall at the Canfield Fairgrounds.

In August, what was originally dubbed the "Canfield Scaregrounds" announced its move to Niles, with opening night set Oct. 3 for the now-titled "Nightmare in Niles." It will be along Route 422 near the Eastwood Mall.

Wednesday, a news release for the new "Canfield FEARgrounds" states that the new haunted attractions will be at the fairgrounds next Oct. 2 -- in 2026.

“We are thrilled to present this all-new immersive Haunted House & Hayride at the Canfield Fairgrounds in 2026,” said Corey Ward, promoter of the Canfield FEARgrounds. “Designed for horror fans, visitors will have the chance to indulge in four new attractions: the Hayride, Black Out Maze, Ghost Cart Forbidden Trail
