A suspect in a December 2020 homicide in Allegheny County has been arrested in Georgia, police said Wednesday.

Damon Lincoln, 24, was fatally shot during a home invasion on Anthony Street in Mount Oliver on Dec. 23, 2020, county police said. Advertisement

"Through evidence collected at the scene, and additional evidence gathered in recent months, detectives determined 28-year-old David Barlow was responsible for the shooting," police said in a statement.

County police said U.S. marshals and the Butts County Sheriff's Office in Georgia assisted with taking Barlow into custody Wednesday morning.

Barlow is facing charges that include homicide, robbery, burglary and recklessly endangering another person, police said.
