The Township of Ignace is looking for builders to construct more than 260 residential homes to meet growing demand associated with upcoming activities around the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) Centre of Expertise and the deep geological repository project.
Jake Pastore, communication and outreach lead for Ignace, said the township has issued a negotiated request for proposals for the development of a housing subdivision, with hopes of seeing shovels in the ground by next summer.
“We are inviting developers to submit proposals for the sale and development of Mayotte Agimak Terrace Subdivision, located within the jurisdiction of the township,” said Pastore.
