A thug spat at bar staff before trying to bite a worker's leg while out drinking. Joshua Garner, 30, was drinking at the Cambridge venue in St Andrew’s Street in October 2023 when staff noticed him behaving aggressively and walking around with his fists clenched.

One member of staff approached Garner and tried to calm him down, but he became more aggressive, pushing them in the chest. The team decided to evict Garner for the safety of other customers, but as they did so, he began shouting, swearing, and spitting.

They managed to restrain him on the floor, but he continued to shout and kick and even attempted to bite a member of staff’s leg.
