General Motors Co., Ford Motor Co., Chrysler parent Stellantis NV and Toyota Motor Corp. will participate in the 2026 Detroit Auto Show in January, organizers said Tuesday.
The public consumer event will run Jan. 17-25 in downtown’s Huntington Place conference center with media and industry days set for Jan. 14 and 15 and a Charity Preview on Jan. 16. Participation by automakers in recent years has shrunk as manufacturers opt for other venues to reveal vehicles, make news, save on costs and avoid sharing the spotlight, a challenge for auto shows globally. But Detroit’s heritage as the city that put America on wheels continues to make it one of the more influential auto events on the calendar, and the show is an economic boon to Detroit.
