NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Metro Nashville Police Department is looking for the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run in Old Hickory on Tuesday night.
Nashville PD reported that 33-year-old James Sellars was waiting at a traffic light at the intersection of Old Hickory Blvd. and Pitts Avenue around 7:30 p.m. when he was hit from behind.

The report states that a small Mercedes SUV slammed into Sellars’ Kawasaki CR 1000, and pushed him through he intersection and into a light pole.
The Mercedes continued driving south on Old Hickory Blvd., and Sellars was declared dead at the scene, according to the Nashville PD.
Fatal crash detectives are looking for the Mercedes, which should have front-end damage, including a
