EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- The Buy El Paso program, a partnership between the Better Business Bureau and the city of El Paso, has reached a significant milestone, marking $1 million in economic impact. Launched in November 2024, the initiative has gained traction, rewarding local shoppers with 5% cash back on purchases made at participating businesses.

In celebration of this achievement, the program is gearing up for a week-long celebration, offering a series of prizes from September 8 to September 15. The festivities coincide with the lead-up to 915 Day, a celebration of El Paso's unique community and culture.
