“Girls” alum Zosia Mamet is opening up about a negative on-set experience she had early in her career.
Prior to her breakout role as Shoshanna Shapiro on HBO’s “Girls,” Mamet quit another famous TV show after the showrunner “screamed” at her.
“The show’s creator and showrunner was an intense human,” Mamet wrote in her new collection of essays, “Does This Make Me Funny?” without naming the show or the showrunner. “The showrunner wasn’t always around, but when he was, the entire vibe of the set would change, as if a cold front had swept the soundstage.”
