SCRANTON, Pa. — Two men could spend up to five years behind bars for a deadly crash in Scranton.

Investigators say John Darko and Paul Viscomi were speeding and jockeying for position along North Keyser Avenue in March of 2024 when their vehicles hit each other, sending Darko's truck into the opposite lane and striking another vehicle head-on driven by Brian Nardella.

Nardella died as a result of the crash.

Darko and Viscomi pleaded guilty in June to charges of involuntary manslaughter.

Darko was sentenced to 25 to 60 months in prison, and Viscomi was sentenced to 30 to 60 months.
