WASHINGTON — Never-before-seen video shown during a House committee hearing purportedly shows what a congressman called "an orb" surviving a missile strike off the coast of Yemen.

Rep. Eric Burlison, R-Mo., said that the video from Oct. 30, 2024, was provided to him by a whistleblower.

The congressman publicly revealed the footage during a House Oversight Committee hearing on transparency and whistleblower protection related to unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAPs — .

The hearing was the third , when a whistleblower claimed the U.S. is concealing a longstanding program that retrieves and reverse engineers unidentified flying objects. The Pentagon has denied the claims.
