One of ’s most famous names is back.

The Italian sports car maker just unveiled its latest sports car, the 849 Testarossa. The youngest Prancing Horse will replace the outgoing SF90, and will feature an electrified powertrain that makes well over 1,000 hp.

The return of the Testarossa name shouldn’t come as a complete shock. Earlier this year, the Maranello-based automaker to the Testarossa name. The E.U.’s General Court ruled that the Italian marque had wrongly been stripped of the rights to the trademark in 2023, despite not having released a Testarossa since 1996 (the company has used the name for over 70 years). Companies love to protect their I.P., but the fact that Ferrari was actively trying to get the rights back suggested something might be in the works.
