An 87-year-old woman who died last week was injured in a York County crash more than four months ago involving a Pennsylvania State Police cruiser, the coroner’s office said Wednesday.
York Township resident Patricia Weidner was driving a vehicle that a trooper crashed into on April 15 at South Pleasant Avenue and Blymire Road in the township, Coroner Pamela Gay said.
Gay said the trooper was headed to a call when the crash happened around 10 a.m.
The intersection is in a rural area surrounded by farmland, with clear visibility from all directions.
State police were not immediately available Wednesday to answer questions about the crash, including the call the trooper was headed to at the time.
Weidner was hospitalized at WellSpan York Hospital for two months, then transferred to York
