Ed Sheeran is clarifying his recent comments about moving stateside.
After the "Sapphire" singer-songwriter, 34, went viral for speaking on the 2 Johnnies podcast about an upcoming move to the United States with his family, he took to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Sept. 9 to further explain himself.
On the podcast, released Sept. 7, Sheeran told the hosts, "I'm just about to move to America."
"I feel like I might be the only person moving to America," he added, after stars including Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O'Donnell have relocated to the U.K. over the past year.
"I'm going on tour there for a while and I have a family, so I can't dip in and out. We're going and settling there," said Sheeran, who shares daughters Lyra Antarctica, 5, and Jupiter, 3, with wife Cherry
