“Halo,” the television adaptation of the video game franchise of the same name, is coming to Netflix.

After years of being a Paramount+ exclusive, “Halo” will make its Netflix debut on Oct. 1. Both seasons 1 and 2 will be available on the streaming platform.

“Halo” was canceled in 2024 after just two seasons. After the cancelation, 343 Industries, the developer of the video game series, said in a statement that the company remains “committed to broadening the Halo universe in different ways in the future.”

Paramount+ said in a statement: “We are extremely proud of this ambitious series.” It’s been speculated that “Halo” was canceled due to high production costs.
