An experienced member of city council is seeking another term.

Rajko Dodic has announced that he will be running for re-election in the 2025 municipal election, taking place October 8-20.

He provided the following answers to a questionnaire by LNN:

Why did you want to run for Lethbridge City Council?

One of the main reasons I want to run for City Council again is to ensure that we, as a Council, focus on the issues that are within the City’s jurisdiction. We often veer off into areas of Provincial and Federal jurisdiction that end up costing municipal taxpayers money rather than having those costs properly borne by the Federal or Provincial Government.
