CLEVELAND (WJW) -- The red, orange and yellow hues of fall leaves will soon start to pop as the autumn season nears.
If you enjoy tracking the changing leaves, you're likely wondering when colors will peak in Northeast Ohio.
Lucky for you, an interactive map posted every year to the Smoky Mountains website tracks fall foliage across the country and is readily available to help you time out your leaf-peeping adventures.
The map uses data which factors in temperature and precipitation, tree types and human reports to track when leaves will likely change across the country.
Here's what the map shows for Northeast Ohio: • Sept. 15 - Sept. 22: Minimal color • Sept. 22 - Sept. 29: Minimal to patchy color • Sept. 29 - Oct. 6: Pa
