LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after a shooting early Wednesday morning in Louisville's Taylor Berry neighborhood.

At about 12:40 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting in the 900 block of Euclid Avenue, according to an LMPD news release.

Officers on scene found a man in his 30's suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. He was found outside in front of a home.

Officers utilized several techniques to try to save his life, including applying multiple chest seals to the victim.

He was taken to UofL Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

As of this writing, the identity of the victim is unknown.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is leading this investigation. There are currently no known suspects.
