TRAVIS Kelce's contract WILL be extended by the Kansas City Chiefs, should the tight end want to continue his career beyond the end of this season.
Speculation has mounted that this will be the 35-year-old's final year in the NFL .
Rumors also surrounded Kelce's future following the Chiefs' Super Bowl defeat in February, only for the veteran to choose to play on.
The three-time Super Bowl champion is in the second year of a two-year, $34.25 million contract.
According to the Mail , Kelce has not yet made a final decision regarding whether this will be his last season.
But it is claimed that the Chiefs stalwart "anticipates" that this will be his final year.
Should Kelce opt to continue, however, the Chiefs will happily extend his contract to keep him on.
