WARREN Parole has been denied for a man convicted in connection with a 1995 murder in Trumbull County.

According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, parole was denied for 49-year-old Charles Perry, who is serving a life sentence on charges of aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder.

Perry was convicted for the 1995 murder of Sheri Reed and attempted murder of Reed's fiancé Pete Morello.

The murder happened when Perry and Reed were arguing over a crack rock that Perry had given Reed, but Reed refused to pay for. Prosecutors say Perry pulled out a revolver and shot at Reed's vehicle, hitting her in the heart.

Addtionally, Morello was hit several times in the arm, thigh stomach and chest.
