As has been the case all year, Canterbury are the story of the NRL.

Coach Cameron Ciraldo has come to the party to start the finals, with plans to bring Toby Sexton onto the bench against Melbourne in place of Reed Mahoney.

It’s an interesting move, to say the least, and dummy-half is where I think the Bulldogs can save themselves in September.

My thinking is that Sexton will act as cover for the Canterbury halves if anything happens. And if not, I see him coming on as a ball-running
