LORDSTOWN, Ohio - An investigation into alleged corruption from the Lordstown Police Department has now been turned over to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office.

In April of 2025, Lordstown Police Chief Brent Milhoan originally called on the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) to investigate alleged corruption that was first brought up at a Lordstown Village Council meeting in March of 2025.

As of Wednesday, September 10, a spokesperson for the Ohio Attorney General's Office tells 21 News that investigation has now been turned over to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office.

A spokesperson for the Prosecutor's Office tells 21 News staff is reviewing the contents of the BCI report. It is unclear whether or not any evidence has been found to support or refute the allegations
