PHOENIX — Arizona politicians are voicing their support for Charlie Kirk after he was shot at an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

The conservative activist co-founded Turning Point USA and has played a key role in Republican politics across the U.S.

Kirk, who has lived in Arizona, was in critical condition as of 1 p.m.

One politician he threw his support behind was Republican Rep. Andy Biggs, who is running for governor in 2026. Kirk served as the featured speaker of the Biggs for Governor Rally on May 31.
