The new NFL season is underway, with several former Missouri football players spread out around the league.
Mizzou sent three players to the pros in the 2025 NFL Draft, which included a second straight year with a first-round pick. By the Tribune’s count, 16 former Mizzou players were on 53-man NFL rosters in Week 1, with several more — including the likes of Brady Cook and Harrison Mevis — on practice squads.
That number will jump to 17 players on active rosters in Week 2 of the NFL season, as Cody Schrader signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars from the Los Angeles Rams’ practice squad on Tuesday.
