The newest Fairfield store is at 4597 Dixie Highway and is the third Wawa convenience store in Butler County.
The stores are known for their fresh food offerings, including sandwiches, hoagies and snacks, as well as coffee and signature drinks.
Over the next 5-8 years, Wawa said it plans to build and open 8-10 stores per year in Ohio, with expectations to open as many as 60 stores in the state.
Each store will employ about 35 people, with expectations of creating 2,100 new jobs in Ohio.
