Charlie Kirk was tragically killed in a shooting in Utah on Wednesday (September 10) and the shooter is still at large, according to authorities. The person who was apprehended in a viral video is reportedly not the shooter.

The Turning Point USA founder and right-wing activist was just 31 when he was shot and killed during a rally event at Utah Valley University.

While it was initially reported that a suspect had been arrested just moments after the shooting, the real suspect is reportedly still out there.

NBC News reported at 1:05pm PT that a Utah Valley University spokesperson said that a suspect, who was not a student, had been taken into custody. It was also reported that the suspect shot from roughly 200 feet away.
