PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — After a string of break-ins were reported at several Providence businesses last Thursday night, owners are hoping police can track down the person responsible.
Elyse Farnsworth, who owns Arrow Salon on Rochambeau Avenue, said she discovered her business had been broken into the next morning.
"Our desk up front had things thrown all over the floor," Farnsworth recalled. "It was that slow realization like, 'Why would someone leave it like that?'"
She also said a standing light was knocked down in the back of the store, which eventually led her to realize the back door had been left open.
"I saw that our deadbolts had been pulled straight through the wood doorframe," she added.
After speaking with police and reviewing surveillance video, Farnsworth learned the s
