The polls closed at 8:00 p.m. for the Helena Municipal Primary Election and the School Bond Election, with around 60% of eligible voters casting their votes according to election officials.

Below are the unofficial results as reported by the Lewis and Clark County Elections Office. The Helena mayoral race and city commission race are nonpartisan.

HELENA HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1 BOND

YES — 11,147 votes (50.82%)

NO — 10,786 votes (49.18%)

HELENA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1 BOND

YES — 10,630 votes (50.91%)

NO — 10,248 votes (49.09%)

HELENA MAYOR PRIMARY (TWO CANDIDATES MOVE ON)

EMILY K. DEAN — 4,133 votes (36.53%)

SONDA GAUB — 969 votes (8.57%)

BRAXTON HUDSON — 328 votes (2.9%)
