SPOKANE, Wash. – People gathered at Riverfront Park to protest President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.
This event came nearly three months after a previous protest in June resulted in several arrests.
Organized by more than 60 groups, including Spokane Against Racism, the protest aimed to push for changes in how Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operates.
Participants called for ICE agents to identify themselves and provide proof of valid judicial warrants before making arrests.
The event brought together people from across the community, emphasizing the call for transparency and accountability in immigration enforcement practices.
