CLEVELAND — The city of Cleveland is standing by its decision to shut down a bar in the East Bank of the Flats following a shooting Sunday that left six people injured.
In a statement provided to 3News Wednesday, the city reiterated its belief that shuttering Play Bar & Grill "was necessary to protect the safety of the public." Police have claimed overcrowding at the bar following Sunday's Browns game pushed people outside, where fights and eventually gunfire broke out.
