ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - Robertson County deputies are facing a federal lawsuit, accusing them of using force to detain the wrong person on his property.
It was all captured on camera as they tried to serve an arrest warrant for “Jerry Reason” last September.
The 23-page civil rights lawsuit is centered on two deputies, Raymond Horton and Bryan Harrison, who are seen on the body camera video confronting Jerry Lee Reason.
Reason is the uncle of Jerry Alexander Reason, who was subject of the arrest warrant. He’s described in the court order as 6 ft., 180 lbs. with hazel eyes and a 1996 birthday.
Within minutes of deputies arriving on his property to confront him, Reason is seen on video showing them his identification card and stating that he was born in 1972.
The lawsuit said t
