OCTOBER 16 Kayaking at the Currituck County Rural Center

Come join us as we explore the waters of the Currituck Sound from the Currituck County Rural Center on Thursday, October 16, 2025. We will gather at NC Cooperative Extension – Currituck Center and depart at 9 am for the Rural Center where we will launch the kayaks at the park’s boat ramp. If you want to meet us there, be there by 9:30 am. The CCRC is located at 184 Milburn Sawyer Road in Powells Point. We will explore the waters and the wildlife in the area. Pack a lunch and bring a change of clothes. We will return to the Rural Center by 3:00 pm and the NC Cooperative Center by 4:00 pm.

This program is for ages 8 to 14 and the cost is $5.00.
