INDIANAPOLIS — One person is in critical condition following a dirtbike crash.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, around 8:01 p.m. on Wednesday, police received a report of a motorcycle hitting a vehicle at East 30th Street and North Pawnee Drive.

Once police arrived, they found one man in critical condition who had driven a dirtbike and crashed into a parked vehicle on the side of the road.

The victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

IMPD believes a possible cause of the crash could be attributed to speed. Dirtbikes and other ATVs are not street legal in Indiana.
