Most Bay Staters approve of the job Maura Healey is doing as governor of Massachusetts while an even greater share of residents here disapprove of President Donald Trump's performance, a new poll found.
The online survey conducted last month by The MassINC Polling Group and sponsored by CommonWealth Beacon found that 55% of the 1,000 residents polled approve of Healey's job performance -- 20% said they "strongly approve" of the governor and 35% said they "somewhat approve" of her as the state's chief executive.

Another 18% of people polled "strongly disapprove" of Healey and 15% said they "somewhat disapprove" of her job performance (33% total disapprove). Eleven percent of respondents were unsure about Healey.
