NESTOR, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI)-- A 16-year-old male from Tijuana, Mexico, has been taken into custody on suspicion of his involvement in the murder of two men found in camper trailers in the Nestor community, about a mile north of the U.S.-Mexico border.
According to a press release from the San Diego Police Department, officers responded to calls of multiple shots fired near 2002 Sunset Ave. on Aug. 30 around 3:25 a.m., near a property that houses individually fenced industrial storage lots.
When officers arrived, they found two men shot dead inside separate camper trailers on the property.
The victims were identified as Aaron Cruz, 42, and Richard Hartung, 64, both of whom lived in campers at the location, according to SDPD.
