Fresh as cleaned and pressed overalls, Kentucky’s Carly Pearce has for a decade made hay in Music City with approaches that meld today’s pop and yesterday’s country.

To the Roots Pearce makes way on Saturday, Sept. 20. Carly Pearce, one of a handful of co-headliners on tap, makes her Bristol debut on the State Street Stage during the 24th Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion.

“It’s very special, and I’m really excited,” said Pearce, by phone from her home in Nashville. “I’ve wanted to play more music festivals.”
