The MLA annual Saleyard Survey is designed to identify the total number of cattle and sheep consigned to Australia's saleyards over the course of a financial year.
Number one in Australia for cattle throughput was Dubbo, followed by Wagga Wagga, which also topped the sheep transactions nationally.
On a state level, NSW was the biggest selling centre by a good margin for both cattle and sheep.
