A specialist in rare coins has identified five vintage British coins that could be worth a small fortune . These coins are significantly more valuable than their face value due to the date they were minted and their limited production numbers.

The expert, known as the Coin Collecting Wizard, shared exactly what to look for in a video on TikTok. This includes coins that have not been legal tender for many years, such as a florin (two-shilling piece) and a thruppence (three pence), according to Devon Live .
